You’re So Little

Geez, Louise! I’ve been working really hard setting up yet another new place because of some things I want to do through wordpress.org rather than wordpress.com. It was confusing, but I think for the most part I have it figured out. Too bad I’m a such a techno-tard. This would be easier if I wasn’t. Oh, well. No worries. I’ll keep you posted. And to make myself feel better I just ate some cherry chocolate chip ice cream. Yum!
So I read on Em’s blog about her breaking out the 6-9 month old clothes for Sir Oliver. I thought Peanut was growing fast but apperently I was wrong. I was excited cuz at 4 months old she can finally wear 3 month old clothes and not completely drown in them. :) I guess it’s all a matter of perspective. NYDD and I are not big people. We quite comfortably fit in a queen size bed. Neither of us own clothes bigger than “medium” (well, NYDD does, but only because he wears everything huge even though he should only be wearing medium). We don’t have big hands or feet. Neither of us is anywhere near 6 feet tall. I guess it only makes sense our baby would be small, too. It’s a comment we get everywhere we go. “She’s so little!” I don’t think NYDD ever got that, but I still get it, even now. All I have to say is big personalities can come in small packages.

lol! It’s because she’s a girl! I swear! Megan started out at 9lbs 7oz and then fell to the 25% after the first month. After that it was the same story. Spence on the other hand was 20lbs at 4 months. He literally has been wearing 2T since he was 6 months old. He was always HUGE!! He’s evening out now. As I said he’s still wearing the same size clothes they just fit him in lenght now. We had to put him in 2T because he was sooooo round. Luckily he waas extremely tall too otherwise the Doc would have been concerned. Nope just perportional. I swear girls are smaller as babies.
*sniff* no one ever called me small. *sniff* my nickname growing up from my grandparents was Gordita (little fatso). sniff jealous!
I thought it was a girl thing until I had my second boy, who is 13 months and fits best in 6-9 month pants, over CLOTH diapers. He is finally 19 pounds now.
I swear we don’t know where it’s coming from! We’re not very large people either (we’re comfortable Queen bed-ers too). But Oliver’s in the 90% for height and 70% for weight. The kid’s a weed with little parents!
